About me. I joined the Information Systems department in Feb. 2010. My PhD degree is from the Language Technologies Institute, school of Computer Science, Carnegie Mellon University received in 2008. Before joining University of Haifa, I was a member of the research staff at Nokia Research center in Cambridge, MA. I hold BSc and MSc degrees from Tel Aviv University in Industrial Engineering. In the past, I have worked for 3COM and Amdocs Israel.
My main interests are in Information Extraction, Information Retrieval, Computational Linguistics and Semantics.
I am also interested in Machine Learning - and the application of learning to NLP problems.
